FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What are your fees?
    My fees vary depending on the type and length of the session. For specific details about my fees, please call or text me at 480-788-9499, or inquire via email at info@therapyisgood.org. If you have concerns about the cost of therapy, please don't hesitate to reach out. I offer sliding scale fees for clients with differing budgets.
  • Do you take insurance?
    If you're in Arizona, I am contracted with Aetna. For Washington residents, I take Aetna, Cigna, Cigna EAP, Kaiser Permanente, Kaiser Permanente Northwest, Regence, United Healthcare, and United Healthcare EAP.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    To cancel, please text or call at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. No-shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time will result in a full-session late cancellation fee.
  • Where are sessions held?
    Therapy sessions are held both virtually and in person. Virtual sessions are conducted via telehealth using a secure and HIPAA-compliant software. In-person sessions are available on a limited basis in the Tempe at 4500 S Lakeshore Dr, Ste 415, Tempe, AZ 85282.
  • Good Faith Estimate Notice
    As a mental health provider, I am committed to transparency in pricing. I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate for the expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including therapy sessions. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
